It is very daunting for a small business to try to find out what it needs to do. We can help.
We include some Health & Safety information and tools as part of our citrus HR service, to make it easier for employers to understand and manage their small business’ Health and Safety. And we can arrange any extra support you might need, too.
Health and Safety support from citrus HR
Health and safety needs will vary widely depending on the activity and location of your company. We provide a Policy, Guide and checklists which will be sufficient for a large number of small businesses, particularly those that are office-based.
You can call us with any questions you might have, and talk to a fully qualified consultant about them. We do not employ these consultants directly but work with a number of experienced consultants around the country.
For many businesses, especially those who are not office based, it’s wise to have your premises reviewed by an expert. We can do this but it’s not included in our package cost.
Online tools to support you
You can also use our custom-built small business HR software to help comply with health and safety law. Our web-based software will store details of any health and safety appointments you have made, such as fire wardens or first aiders, and will remind you if any of these people leave so that you have time to train or appoint other members of your team.
If you want you can give your staff access to this, too, and they can then see where your first aid kit is stored, who to talk to about first aid or fires, and where to assemble in the event of a fire.
Optional extras
Our consultants can write a completely bespoke Health and Safety policy for you, based on your individual business needs for a small extra cost.
We can also organise a site visit for a Health & Safety consultant to review your premises and its Health & Safety requirements if you would like, for an extra charge.
Neither of these services are included in the standard package price, but we can provide you with a competitive quote for them separately.
